Howie's relation to the Filipinos...
The trip to Manila also allows Howie D to give vent to his other passion, traveling. “I didn’t get to see much of the Philippines
the times I was here,” says Howie who has always been curious about this country. His mother’s best friend and his
godmother is Filipino. “So I might be able to do that this time.”
It is also a honeymoon of sorts for Howie and his bride, the lovely Leigh Boniello. They were married last December
but Howie had to tour with the BSB for seven months. They also suffered through the death of his father last June.
So Manila, despite some work to do is an overdue vacation. “We are looking forward to enjoying ourselves here,” he
says. The prospect that they will looks good.

Sarah Geronimo meets Backstreet Boys' Howie Dorough
Popular young singer Sarah Geronimo met one of her idols Howie Dorough of the US boy band Backstreet Boys who arrived
in Manila, Tuesday, September 23rd. He is in town to record a music video with her and promote her newest album entitled "Just Me."
"You have beautiful islands and people. We're here last time for our tour two or three years ago. I would love to
come here and do more projects in the future," he said.
Before the interview ended Geronimo and Dorough invited the people to grab a copy of "Just Me."
"I think this album is a great album. It has original songs and I'm hoping everybody will get a copy of 'Just me,'"
Geronimo said.
Geronimo and Dorough will have a music video of their song "I'll Be There."
On Sunday they will be together for autograph signing and a show at the Mall of Asia in Pasay City.

Hello Again
I am sorry I haven’t been communicating too much lately. I have just been really busy trying to prepare my defense for this ridiculous charge that is being put on me. I am sure I will be vindicated as I didn’t do the things they (my exes) are trying to say. In fact I wouldn’t be surprised if they did it themselves so they could have a way to continue to try to torture me through the media. Wow, the greed in this world just makes me sick. People will do anything for $ not caring a bit about who they hurt along the way. I want to say thanks again for all the words of encouragement you all have sent my way. I believe it is helping to make me stronger, just knowing that all the world is not bad.
I have been talking to Nick and Aaron and they are doing very well. They are both at Nick’s home in Tennesee and off the road for a bit. Nick has got Aaron on a new health plan and it seems to be working well. Aaron sounds happier than he has in a long time. Nick has been such a wonderful son for stepping up and helping his little brother get his life straightened out. Nick was painting a room in his house the other day, and he asked me how many coats he needed! I told him he would know when it looked good. I have always loved home improvement projects. Maybe thats something you never knew but I have always loved fixing up an old house! That was why I bought the one in Brooksville that needed so much work. It was my therapy after the divorce from Bob. And I wanted to have a place for all the kids to come home to once they realized I wasn’t the bad guy. Thankfully, now they really have, but I lost the house. Oh well, as my Father Doug says, it’s only material things, you can always get them again if you want. Your life and your health are the things you can’t get back. So remember that all, you only have this one precious life, so try to do what’s right and you can be happy, even without money and all the headaches and heartaches it brings.The ones who are greedy will always get their comeuppence. Like LOU PEARLMAN.
I found out that Johns(my 2nd ex)Attorney has ties to Lou Pearlman. And you all know that my ex Bob Carter fought me in court after the divorce so he could take Aaron BACK to Lou for management? And of course, he had the $$ so he won. This was after Bob and I as Aaron’s parents had been suing Lou for years for royalties from his first Album.
Do you know that I found out that Bob Carter went to Lou Pearlman to get the money to pay my marital settlement? I walked away from a multimillion $ estate because I didn’t want to drag my kids through a media feeding frenzy.Money is not what is important to me…my kids are.
There is alot the public does not know. But I am now in a beautiful position. Because I am BROKE I am able to speak the truth freely because THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN TAKE FROM ME NOW. They can sue me all they want, but there is nothing they can take except my dignity, and my freedom, which is exactly what they are trying to do currently. But I can assure you, I will hold my head up high and plug on joyfully because of all the great love and support I have from you all, my husband Greg and kids.

Steph spies say the singers hung for about an hour and were very laid back at the club.

Howie D Comes To Manila for Sarah
Howie is in town to shoot the music video of “I’ll Be There” with Sarah and promote the song in “ASAP” and the
SM Mall of Asia this Sunday. He was presented by Viva Records to the press last Tuesday after he just came in
from California.
He came with his wife, Leigh Boniello, a webmaster from N.J. She did their website in 2000, they became friends
and went steady for six years before getting married last December. While here, they’ll visit Boracay. Howie has
also tried acting and appeared in films like “Parenthood” and “Constellation”. On TV, he acted in “Roswell” and
“Sabrina, The Teenage Witch”.
So how’s married life? “It’s been great,” says Howie. “We’re on an extended honeymoon.”

Howie D has arrived!
Howie arrived in Manila this morning and he will be staying at the EDSA Shangrila in Mandaluyong City. The press
conference was held in the afternoon for invited media and guests. Howie personally thanked the BSB fan club for the bouquet of flowers
sent to him as a welcome gift. Along with the flowers is a copy of Community Blend Issue 2, BSBFCP's internal newsletter

Backstreet Boys were in town Friday and Guy totally shook Nick Carter's hand as he was signing autographs
outside the arena. Aside from an opportunistic photographer, we were definitely the only dudes there, and
of course Guy was the most obnoxious in the crowd. I suppose we have BBQ Hut to thank for that.

Backstreet Boy Howie D was reported to arrive on September 23 to help Sarah promote her new album Just Me
which will feature the carrier single, her duet with Howie - I'll Be There.
But the Backstreet Boys Fan Club Philippines, the official fan club in the country and recognized by Sony-BMG,
has no official word or confirmation yet about the news of Howie's arrival in Manila.

I very much enjoyed the Backstreet Boys concert and appreciated their visit to Sudbury.
I find it insulting to be referred to as a "boy band fanatic" and a "squealing teenager bounding around
the arena." What's wrong with being excited and cheering for a band that has been together for 15 years?
It almost sounded like I was being criticized. But the criticism I received, along with much of Sudbury's
teenage population which also attended the concert, was nothing compared to the insults and put-downs that
were written about the Backstreet Boys themselves.
