Former MÖTLEY CRÜE drummer Tommy Lee has lashed out at the "retarded people" at BLABBERMOUTH.NET who have posted scathingly unflattering messages about his recently announced collaboration with BACKSTREET BOYS singer Nick Carter.
Responding directly to the overwhelmingly negative comments on this site accompanying the June 27 article announcing Lee's alliance with Carter, Tommy writes in the "Tommy's Journal" section of www.joysmayhem.com, "If you go to the postings [on BLABBERMOUTH.NET] you will see moronic statements by many who just don't get life/creativity/exploration and music at all! Am I never supposed to write a song for anyone else?... Am I never to change my style as I and music evolve???... It just blows my mind how retarded people are!! I've been asked to write for OZZY, I've written many songs for the CRÜE, my solo stuff etc... Who gives a flyin' fuck who I write with! I only want to work with talented artists! Fuck... I'm not joining the BACKSTREET BOYS, I was asked by Nick after he heard my last 2 CD's production and sound if I would help him get a more aggressive sound for his new CD!!... And why not?... That motherfucker can sing his nuts off!!... And what?... Is he never to do anything but pop music?? He's a huge rock music fan... You all would be very surprised. I hope you people over there find something better to do with your time like move the fuck on and roll with the times and let people be themselves!! Do I judge your work!?!!?... Trust me... It wouldn't get me off posting to everyone how you burn the burgers you flip at Jack In The Box!! So run along..... Your boss is calling you.

The major news is that the film finally seems to have a director. His name is Kyle Newman, and, according to his own imdb page, he's never worked on a film in any capacity before, let alone directed one. I'm curious about his background -- does anybody know?
Also, the major character names have now been added.

Nick Carter, 23, always has been one of our favorite
Backstreets Boys.
In this interview, answered for email after two
weeks of much insistence, he was supercalm. "I am resting before hitting
the road again", he said, on a break of "Now Or Never" Tour,
his solo album. "Soon I will be doing shows in Mexico."
Nick told us that his favorite program for Valentine's
Day is to travel. "You get away from everything and if can concentrates
in who is with you." But he confesses that he did that only a few times.
"What I usually do in this day is to bought a beautiful gift, to take the
girl to dinner and later going to a club with her, or seeing a movie."
Capricho: People use to say that they are afraid
of fall in love, but not to have sex. Wouldn't it have to be the the opposite,
since it is the sex that puts the people in risk?
Nick Carter: Ok, this one deserves some thinking!
It's more complicated to fall in love than to have sex. When you have sex, you
put your body into it, but not necessarily your mind and soul, that are much
more difficult to deal with. When you fall in love you put in the game each
element of yourself: body, soul, confidence, mind, devotion. You are more open
in a relationship.
Capricho: When the first kiss is not good is it
a signal it's worth to insist on that person?
Nick Carter: Of course, you can insist. After
all it's just a first kiss right?
Capricho: What a fate need to have to be unforgettable?
Nick Carter: Chemistry has to work. I like people
who has a good sense of humor are shy; women who act naturally by my side. Sometimes
people are not natural with me because I am "the" Nick Carter. It's
good to have a casual date, to be able to go to any place, to do anything without
planning ahead. She needs to be spontaneous, this is the word that I was looking
for.
Capricho: To be good, a relationship has to have

Nick Carter: Confidence, sincerity, understanding.
Capricho: Who loves not cheat? Or cheat?
Nick Carter: Another difficult question! Who loves
not cheat? Well, if the human beings were perfect, I think that would be true.
But they are not, right? Who cheat can trully love its partner, but be immature
or not know how to speak about problems that might be happening. It's not an
excuse, but it happens with so much frequency ...
Capricho: A betrayal can kill a great love?
Nick Carter: Certainly. Trust is something you
have to earn and it's the base of any relationship. It's difficult to forgive,
specially when if you are together for some time. If you are not able to trust
the person you are with, you have a great problem !
