Thank you to EVERYONE who has written to me about Baylee!Your prayers have gotten our family through a very difficult time. Bayleeis getting better everyday. He had a doctors appointment the day afterChristmas, and it showed that his right coronary artery is starting toshrink!!! We will be going back to the doctor every 6 weeks. We hopeand pray that our next doctors appointment will show yet again moreshrinkage of the coronary artery. He is on an aspirin treatment to keephis blood properly moving through his system. This is the onlyexception to giving children aspirin, other wise it is very dangerous. Thank you all once again for your love, support and prayers, they mean so much. God Bless Leighanne |

Former Backstreet Boy Brian Littrell and his wife Leighanne are reaching out to extend their condolences to John Travolta and Kelly Preston following the recent death of their 16-year-old son, Jett.
The Littrells, whose 6-year-old son Baylee was just diagnosed with Atypical Kawasaki Disease (Jett was also reported to have had Kawasaki Disease), tell OK! their hearts are with the grieving family. "We are so deeply touched for the Travoltas," the Littrell family told OK! in a statement. One of the most successful boy bands of all time has set a date and venue for their concert in Lima, Peru, reported local media early Wednesday morning.
It has been announced that as a part of their "Unbreakable" tour in Latin America, the Backstreet Boys will be performing in Peru on February 25 at the Estadio Monumental in the Limean district of Ate. With over a dozen Top 40 hits on the Billboard Hot 100, Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell and A. J. McLean will begin their show at the "Monumental" at 9 p.m. The band, which has sold over 100 million albums worldwide, has planned to come to Peru after performing in Puerto Rico. After doing their show in the Andean country, the group is to have concerts in Venezuela, Chile, Argentina and Brazil. There were news circulating around the web that says Brian Kennedy, who is one of the producers, shared that the Boys are working on the new album with him and released an info on a new song which is said to be the first single. Message from the Littrell Family On Saturday December 20, 2008, Baylee T W Littrell was released from Scottish Rite Children's Hospital in Atlanta. Before being admitted Baylee had been treated for or thought to have had strep throat, hand, foot, mouth disease and erythema multiforme. After receiving a biopsy, blood tests, an EKG and 2 echocardiograms, Baylee was finally diagnosed with A-Typical Kawasaki Disease. We would like to stress A-Typical because Baylee did not have text book symptoms of any of the viruses they thought he had. Kawasaki Disease causes inflammation in the coronary arteries as well as the walls of the small and medium sized arteries throughout the body. Unfortunately, Baylee's coronary arteries were affected. He received an IVIG, which is a treatment to bring down the inflammation in his coronary arteries. Baylee will be closely monitored for the next 6-8 weeks by a Pediatric Cardiologist to see if the treatment was effective. We want to thank every one who prayed for us as well as all of the emails and phone calls. Your love and support means so much to our family. The Hospital Staff were absolutely amazing. They made an extremely difficult time in our lives as comfortable as possible. We are humbled by the love and compassion that people have for our son all over the world, thank you! For the first time since leaving the group in 2006, former Backstreet Boy Kevin Richardson joined the rest of the group onstage in Los Angeles Sunday night, on the last stop of their Unbreakable tour at the Palladium in Hollywood.
In a fan-made video that's surfaced online, the audience erupts into deafening screams when Richardson emerges onstage to join the group for "Shape of My Heart," from the group's Black and Blue album. He's seen goofing around with his former bandmates, and at one point even lifts Nick Carter's shirt. The five are very chummy in the clip and seem to be feeding off of the audience's energy; the screams render the first minute of the song completely inaudible in the clip. Nick is still feeling crappy but is okay. - Probably won't be doing any smooching on the fans tonight ((during the "Lollipop Segment of the show)) so they won't pass on germs. - His fav color is black. - Fav food is still McDonald's though its changing to Cobb Salads w/ Ranch Dressing. - He loves ranch dressing. - He wears girls pants mostly now. In a size 5. - His favorite Starbucks drink is White Chocolate Frappaccino...he loves white anything white chocolate. - He's not really a Starbucks guy...he's a Coffe Bean fan. - If he was on a deserted island and could only have on thing, it'd either be his mom or the new bond girl Olga. - What he wants from Santa is Season 4 of LOST ((HUGE FAN))...and to be home w/ his family for the holidays. ((which he will be)) - Looking forward to his mom's Candied Yams - He and his family will probably be having Turduckin instead of a turkey. (a TURDUCKIN is basically a turkey w/ a duck in its butt...LoL.. and inside the duck a chicken.. or in some order.. he said BUTT alot though.) - He was mistakin for Sayeed from LOST by a drunk guy the other day. - if he were getting married tomorrow with no preperation, his wedding song would be Lucy Lu's theme song from KILL BILL. - and he's satisfied w/ his two dogs..no plans for another. - His ex chef friend keeps his dogs while he's on tour - He plans on seeing BOLT before going to see TWILIGHT... - the Boys would LOVE to do a Christmas album, but have yet to find the time. If they do, they'd do traditional and origional music. - Yes, he'll be doing a solo tour. - His solo album will be released in January/February overseas and the summer in the States. - Oh, one more.
