The Backstreet Boys have added three Mexican dates to their Unbreakable tour: March 14, 15 and 17. They will be performing in Puebla, Guadalajara and Mexico City.

If you were born in the 80s, there’s a 50-50 chance that you had a poster of Nick Carter hanging on your bedroom wall.

Well, why not relive some of those teenage memories and get yourself off to see the blonde one and co at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast on Monday, May 12.

The Backstreet Boys have sold more than 75 million albums worldwide making them the biggest selling boyband of all time.

Two South American dates have been added to the Unbreakable tour schedule: the Boys will be in Monterrey on March 12 and in Guadalajara on March 27, both in Mexico.

George Nozuka posted in his official Site that he will be the opening act for the Backstreet Boys on their Japan concert dates, February 16 and 17. Hear him sing his songs off his new album, Believe, that features Dance With Me and Butterfly.

FYI, George is Howie and CJ's talent for their company, HC Entertainment Group.

In the mid-1990s, there was no bigger pop group in the world than the Backstreet Boys. The heartthrobs ruled the airwaves with their sappy ballads and smooth dance moves. Teenage girls swooned over them, as they earnestly sang ``Quit Playing Games With My Heart," and ``As Long As You Love Me."

Like most boy bands, the Backstreet Boys had some problems transitioning from being cute teenage heartthrobs to mature adults. But the group has successfully moved on to a more pop-rock and R&B sound, as seen in their seventh album ``Unbreakable."

Definitely no longer boys, the Backstreet Boys will show their mature side in concert, March 8 at the Olympic Fencing Gymnasium, Olympic Park. They are returning to Seoul after a successful concert in 2006.

Good news to all the BSB fans in the Philippines. Their official website has updated the tour schedule and now included Manila in their itinerary. They will be performing at the Araneta Coliseum on February 27. We will update you on the availability of the tickets soon.

The Backstreet Boys have dismissed speculation their record company is on the verge of dropping them.

Jive Records were reported to have been preparing to kick the boy band off its roster.

However, a spokesperson for the label tells website TMZ.com, "Reports about Jive Records dropping Backstreet Boys are completely untrue."

"The group is about to embark on a worldwide tour in support of their album, Unbreakable, starting February 16th in Tokyo, as well as some high-profile television appearances."

The Puerto Rican boy band Menudo, which gave singer Ricky Martin his start, is coming back as part of an “American Idol”-style reality show.

Dozens of Latino teenagers showed up for auditions Saturday at a waterfront market in Miami, the Miami Herald reported. Judges included Johnny Wright, the music manager behind New Kids on the Block, ‘NSync and the Backstreet Boys, and Backstreet Boy Howie Dorough.

Menudo was one of the most popular boy bands of the 1980s and ‘90s, rotating in new talent every few years when the singers got old or their voices changed.

“We’re going to make it a little different than it was before,” Wright told the Herald. “The beat is going to be the beats of the street now — club, hip-hop and rock. It’s not going to be something that’s pigeonholed.”

Seven boys from auditions being held around the country will be picked to film the series “The Road to Menudo,” airing next month on MTV Tr3s, MTV’s bilingual Latin-American channel.

Chinese online video site 6Rooms (6.cn) has partnered with Sony BMG for the initial release of Backstreet Boys' music video (MV) "Helpless When She Smiles" in mainland China on December 13, reports Ccidnet. The MV was launched simultaneously in US, Europe, Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, Taiwan and mainland China. Earlier this month, both Tudou.com and 6Rooms launched support for high definition video content using the H.264 standard. "Helpless When She Smiles" comes from the Backstreet Boys' latest album "Unbreakable".

The Backstreet Boys' new album is still on the list of the Top10 Selling Albums of SoundScan era, in which did not change last year. Shania Twain is still on the top. The SoundScan era accounts for sales from 1991 until now.

While the top 10 albums stayed in the same 10 positions, sales for the albums varied dramatically.

The biggest seller of the Top 10 was The Beatles '1'. It sold 276,000 units last year.

The slowly mover of the 10 was N Sync's 'No Strings Attached'. It sold just 5,000 units in 2007. Backstreet Boys 'Millennium' and the 'Bodyguard' soundtrack also registered less than 10,000 sales with 8,000 and 9,000 respectively.

Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora spent three-days hanging out at the Hard Rock for the holiday and learned that actor Robert DeNiro and his chef partner-pal Agostino Sciandri were about to open their famed LA restaurant AGO in the resort. Although not yet quite open to the public, once they heard that Sambora was in town, the chef arranged an impromptu tasting for him and 15 friends in tow! That led to the Backstreet Boys with Nick Carter, A.J. McLean, Howie Dorough and Brian Littrell also getting an advance dinner treat in AGO before they hosted the midnight countdown in the nearby Body English nightclub.
