A Norwegian paper printed an article on Nick's supposedly new lifestyle. Nick said he's left his bad habits behind and is focusing on a healthier lifestyle. He quit smoking a month ago and is already feeling good and being able to play an entire basketball game without feeling exhausted.

On people in Hollywood he says "either people are really unhealthy or they're very thin. Some lose control in the hunt for the perfect look. I think people have to focus on what makes them special. To use their advantages for what they're worth, and also consider their inner values."

Another year added for our Backstreetboys music family. I'm sure we will be expecting lots of new good music from them, Never Gone album was off the hook especially the unreleased ones..By judging those unreleased songs, I can truly say that Backstreetboys were the long existing musician who are very talented and honest guys. That's why WE, FANS love them so much! Happy Anniversary to them and to us. Cheers!

Authorities are investigating a woman's sexual assault claim, involving Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter and an assistant, the Key West police chief said Thursday.

Carter, an assistant and two young women were spending the night at the Simonton Street home of Tom Oosterhoudt, a former city commissioner and Carter's friend, on March 27 when the assault allegedly occurred around midnight, Police Chief Bill Mauldin said.

The women, who were vacationing in Key West, returned to their home in Waukesha County, Wis. One of the women complained to police there on March 28.

"Any allegation of sexual assault by Mr. Carter is absolutely not true," said Marathon lawyer Jay Hershoff, who, along with Miami Attorney John Sale, has been retained to represent Carter. Police have talked with both attorneys. "When it is all said and done there should not be an arrest or an indictment. He [Carter] vehemently denies this." The Waukesha County Sheriff's Office are questioning the victim and relaying the information to Key West detectives, Mauldin said. The woman claims she met Carter through his brother, and that Nick Carter paid for their trip to Key West.

Key West detectives and Monroe County prosecutors met Thursday to discuss the investigation. Carter, who lives in Los Angeles, visited Key West after a recent tour, Oosterhoudt said.

"Nick is a world-class musician who just got off tour with the Backstreet Boys. He has hundreds of women waiting for him after concerts," said Oosterhoudt, who has been friends with Carter for years. "Nothing happened. This is ridiculous. It is just incomprehensible.. .. If this wasn't Nick Carter this would be yesterday's news.

"We are totally cooperating with the investigation," Oosterhoudt said. Carter, 27, lived with his family in Marathon for several years and often stays at Oosterhoudt's family compound, Casa Antigua.

NC is out every night partying..I guess having his time off is the best time of his life huh? but keep it on here where I will update you guys what's been happening with NC for his hiatus 6months..weeeheee! I dunno if his my space account is legit but who knows., he's been really updating it with lots of never before seen pics so I'm a believer..If he can scoop me with the latest update about him that's not available elsewhere I'll let ya know...I've nothing against of that myspace account but I'm just being careful., It's not easy to trust someone..just that..right? The Florida Chapter of The Recording Academy has named global pop sensations the Backstreet Boys, Puerto Rican pop artist Ednita Nazario, seven-time GRAMMY Award-winning producer/engineer Roger Nichols, and legendary punk icon Iggy Pop as recipients of the Recording Academy Honors 2006.

The Recording Academy Honors was established to celebrate outstanding individuals whose work embodies excellence and integrity and who have improved the environment for the creative community. The gala event, which will attract recording artists, key entertainment executives and community leaders, will be held Monday, April 17, at 7 p.m. at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel. Formerly known as the Florida Heroes Awards, this gala supports the Florida Chapter's ongoing advocacy, education and professional development programs, along with MusiCares Hurricane Relief Fund - an effort established to aid those Gulf Coast area music community residents affected by 2005's devastating storms.

The evening will begin with a cocktail hour and silent auction followed by dinner and the awards presentation. This will include performances by the Backstreet Boys, Al Di Meola (an artist recorded by honoree Roger Nichols), Ednita Nazario and Iggy Pop, who will perform together with Sum 41.

Tickets for The Recording Academy Honors gala are $150 if purchased by March 31 and $250 thereafter for members. The non-member price is $450. Qualified music professionals can join The Academy for $100 (membership through June '07) and purchase tickets at the member price. To reserve your tickets, please call the Florida Chapter office at 305.672.4060. Sponsorship and table packages are also available. Ticket purchase deadline: April 10, 5 p.m. (ET).

NICK and AARON CARTER are set to take their sibling rivalries to the small screen in a new family reality show. BACKSTREET BOYS star Nick has pitched the idea to TV bosses at America's E! network and they're forging ahead with plans to shoot the project. Carter's idea was for him and his three siblings - Aaron, LESLIE and ANGEL - to live together and have their comings and goings and family spats filmed for fans to see.

Wow, seeing them on a TV series was fun ryt? I just hope this reality show would push through...
