Why I came up with the name The NC Corner?
+I know some of you may not have a strong recall of my site's name, I dont care. The first time I launched this
site, everybody raised their eyebrows Why? Because its 2002 and Backstreetboys started their career in 1995 so if
I want to adverise them or to show my support why now? Other says that my fansite is in NO way gonna be on top and
fans bashed me because I started with nothing. No friends, no affiliates...Just me, geocities.com and my graphics
that still needs to be imporved. I'm angry at first but my love for Nick didnt stop me from going on so I educated
myself with a lots of codes and books (that i've problems readin)..Whern 2003 approaches people see the difference
each month and I'm so happy with the results. I've been running this fansite since 2002 and each year, I learned so
much and loving it. The NC Corner means
Nick's own corner (easy meaning right?), A lot of fansites is named
next to his songs or i love nick, undying fan blah blah...so why not make a change and create something like this,
I always have this passion about catering Nick's fans almost all friendly user thingy facts/games in the site and
I have a face to show off to them that I'm one of them and I'm different. Because in the past when I try to browse
a lot of sites, some of them are not really friendly...the graphics (that's forever to load) or locked codes that
will not allow you to get pics or download anything, so I want to get away from that and be different. So when you
ask people from my site nowadays...What makes NC Corner different with any other Backstreet fansites?...They will
definitely answer"USER FRIENDLY MEDIA/GALLERY and easy to contact webmasters are NC Corner's tattoo. hehe =) Thank
you!
My first ever fansite?
Actually when the news about Nick having a long time girlfriend came out, I became interested to be acquianted with
computers. If I still can recall it, I choose to have a computer subject back in highschool for one purpose. I
succeeded. I tried to browse in my first lesson and then the next thing I'm learning how to familiarize myself
on the commands. I practiced and practiced that skill. When I reached college I met this wonderful guy "JM" who
taught me that the codes of a certain site can be right click and "View Source" thingy. So I did. from then its
a trial and error stage for me until I familiarize myself on the coding/html stuff. At first the stingy fansite
that I made came out, it was hot, but because a lot of fans hate Willa they bashed me. But my site still made an
amazing name in the Willa Ford Fansites. But its about to choose who to hold on and who's not. I have Nick and
Willa. You know the answer
My loving host since 2004
Early 2004, I met
Patti of bed-head.net and she stood beside me dealing with the people who tries to pull
me down. She offered me the domain and I became a bed-header in an instant. I was turned down when i tried to
applied on the hosting things...If i can still remember 3 times until I find bed-head.net, I lost my confidence
so when i applied for a hostee on her, I was just trying my luck and the next day she said "I'll host you, give
me ur username and password..." without any questions why? Patti is a nice host and I love her so much. The trust
that she gave me is one of the mopst treasurable things that I would never ever forget. She's one of the reason
why NC Corner is still here.
the Webmistresses - The Brains behind me
Early this year 2006, I met a wonderful girl named Melissa from DLSUNITED.COM, I'm actually on the lookout of
someone whom I can have my full trust with in the site and spotted this country girl who are so polite and
generous and a media genius, so I immediately offered her the position, she said She's interested and the team
was complete. Melissa girl. I love yah, you're my bestfriend and my sexy, smart media-webmiss... We are here for
them forever! I love yah!
Add to that, my BSBFCP admin/friend
Crislyn whom we both do not have any idea that she would part of NC
Corner. When busy schedules strikes, you can't help to ignore the site a bit. But recently it's not a bit to me,
I've been totally neglecting the site because I have a job that's killing my time. I'm looking for someone who
can just update the site and one day I offered her to be part of my site, and she was interested. We were joking
around when we saw each other around lunch time last 2 weeks ago (August 15, '07) because we both do not have any
idea that she can be part of my team. She's great and I love her. I can truly say that having Melissa and Crislyn
around makes Nick Carter's Corner world complete. They are both genius and a goddess. I'm sure NC Corenr wouldn't
be here if it weren't for them.
So, being a webmaster is a tough decision specially me who has no education or whatsoever with graphics/html
coding etc... All things I've learned for the past years is a God-given talent to me, He gave me the strength
to go on and made this as a hobby so you know coding became one of my favorite past time and of course the
internet, This site is my life and my baby and I'll never exchange this to anything else. I will try my hardest
to keep this up until forever. hehe =) This is for you Nick & the Backstreet Boys! We love you guys!
