AJ MCLEAN SAYS "BYE BYE BYE" TO BSB
22 year old AJ Mclean leaving the group? It would appear so. Is he settling down to get married like his fellow Backstreet Boys? No way. He's setting out to become someone else - Johnny No Name. Mclean took his alter-ego out on tour during the beginning of 2000 and says he wants to do it again... permanently. "Johnny can be everything AJ can't". He referred to himself in the third person an aweful lot... which frightened me and my assistant, who left to get some Jack Daniels (at AJ's request) and never came back. Mclean insisted he do the interview as Johnny, but I refused. Hey, a guy's gotta keep his sanity. Mclean's main comment was - "The guys are all getting married one by one and I'm not, cause you know, I love me the womens. But our group is slowly fading into oblivion and we never noticed. I'm starting to see it now. I want to leave while I still have my dignity." Mclean then ripped his shirt off and proceeded to hump my desk. I had him removed by security. I knew something was wrong with the group when they weren't at the MTV VMA's. You know something's wrong with you when MTV won't invite you to their awards. This has taught me one thing... never interview a pop star.
